Coffee Machine Journey.

Seeing as this is my first official post we better start at the beginning, The Royal Corp of Signals and my final day with the British Army.

It was the summer of 2012 and I left the camp gates for the last time after a decade of service for her Majesty’s armed forces, after 12 months of resettlement training I was set to return to the electrical Industry and thoughts of coffee or starting a company in Wiltshire in this industry could not have been further from my imagination.

Growing up in a house were coffee was instant and only appeared if we ran out of tea bags, my mind was opened and blown when in a failed attempt to obtain a mortgage due to my self employed status, I was forced into looking for permanent work and I found it in the form of a technical role based along the M4 for a national service provider.

My role was to install and un-install commercial coffee machines at every major airport and train station from Cardiff to Gatwick along with the major stations in London. Naturally my technical knowledge of the Industry and machinery grew, so combining this with the procedures and core values from the military (alongside some pretty big support from a friend) we converted an outbuilding into a functioning workshop in Warminster Wiltshire for the sole purpose of servicing a section of a national coffee companies espresso machines.

Fast forward and we now have a vast knowledge on all types of coffee machines, from multi boiler pressure profiling to high end commercial coffee machines for your business.

The Coffee Lobby Ltd is now in its 3rd workshop / showroom, we have survived the pandemic and Covid 19 restrictions. I am a excited for the future of the business, as we expand our horizons working with coffee roasters and businesses across the UK.
